What sets this piece apart the most is the fabric. Neckwear designer BlackBird found this fabric in Como Italy while visiting the infamous fabric mill of Botinelli S.P.A. The design is not woven, but printed directly on to the wool using a modern digital fabric printer. What was previously only possible on silk fabric and synthetics, Botinelli was able to replicate on pure wool. You simply have to see and feel the fabric to truly appreciate the art.
